Drainage
Concrete has long shown its sustainable features and with the new high-tech production methods, it adds even more years to its lifetime. Intensive research has proved that concrete in drainage systems, such as pipes and well chambers, effectively resists the effect of degradation.
Sand, stone, chalk and water are nature's own materials and so concrete already has an environmental edge in its raw materials. A lifecycle analysis shows, for example, that concrete products have much lower energy consumption than other materials and are both environmentally neutral and easy to recycle.
